Are you licensed and accredited?

Yes! We are Licensed by Texas Health and Human Services and we are a Texas Rising Star 4 School.

Can I drop in for a tour?

Due to current COVID policies, all tours before or after regular school hours. Call or text the director, Sharon Knight, at 435-730-4682 (Cell) or email tarrytownchildrenscenter@gmail.com, to schedule a tour.

Is there a daily schedule?

Yes! There is always a weekly lesson plan. Young children and infants thrive on routine and structure, but we also have free play as well because children also need time for discovery.

Are you teachers certified in CPR and infant first aid?

Yes, everybody is.

What is your approach to cell phones, tablets, and TVs in the classroom?

No media for children. We do use tablets for teachers to communicate with parents and take photos and videos of activities.

How often do you read books?

Every day, inside and outside!

Do you have an indoor or outdoor playground?

We have two outdoor playgrounds, one for younger children and another for older children. We also have an indoor movement space.
